Assalamualaikum and hello my friends,

I‘m Azira. One of the members from this group. Today, I want to tell to all of you about ‘What causes of this illegal racing or more known as Mat Rempit until it had beeb spread in Malaysia’. High death reported each activity year resulting illegal racing. Starting from year 2001 to 2004, number of arrests which operate by PDRM is as much as 5,332 cases over Malaysia. During that time, Selangor record highest total of cases namely as much as 1,041 cases. Within one prevention operation performed found most remanded in age group 16 to 28 years. So my friends, why Mat Rempit involve themselves in this social problems? What are factors in the illegal racing in Malaysian community? Please leave your comments and recommendations.

Assalamualaikum and hello everybody,

I am Amira , and just call me mira. I am from Development Sciences course. In previous umbrella's posts, Aryma and Hashim had told and gave their opinion towards our topic which is about the introduction and the impact of Mat Rempit , right? So, i would not repeat the same point. But i am here is still to share about Mat Rempit ,however in different perspective that how to prevent this Mat Rempit ? Nowadays, Mat Rempit had become more wild? They had been charge towards many crimes. Honestly, i feel really sad because most of them are in the same ages like us. We are in universities, brighten our future life. But them? So sad. Guys,did you all know that government had spend a lot of money in order to prevent this Mat Rempit ? In fact, many NGO's also lend their hands and cooperate with the authorities so that no more or at least this social problem can be reduce. Hmmm (sigh). Before i leave, i have two questions to all of you. Do you think all the efforts from government and NGO's are already enough to be the precaution of Mat Rempit? Do other parties are needed and responsible to solve this? Response me, and we can share our opinion.

I'm an open minded person,so you all can leave any comment about this topic which i think is a very interesting and hot topic.Right??We can discuss about it and i hope it will be such an interesting discussion.Ok,i want to ask something.Do you like ' Mat Rempit '?? Personally,i like seeing ' Mat Rempit ' racing on the road but sometimes i am afraid with them.This is because ' Mat Rempit ' have caused many social problems.I am not saying that all 'Mat Rempit ' have bad attitudes but mostly social problems nowadays are caused by them.Am i right?? Do all of you agree if i said that ' Mat Rempit ' are also robbers??Also rappers??Also killers??- i mean when they are accidents happened when they race,the blames is always on them...please give your response yeah!!!
